Curriculum and Instruction Alignment Studies
Curriculum and Instruction Alignment Studies are used to examine the alignment between curriculum and standards or between instruction and standards.
HumRRO has conducted studies for California and Idaho that examined curricular and instructional alignment with the state's content standards. The states requested these studies to help them make decisions about the use of the state assessment as a high school exit requirement. These studies consisted of district self-studies, surveys of administrators and teachers, and school site visits during which HumRRO researchers interviewed administrators and teachers.
