Bob Gossman joined HumRRO in 1997. He has over thirty years experience in managing, researching, developing and evaluating human performance development systems, beginning with his work in the Systems Training Department at Bell Laboratories Business Systems Division. While at Bell Labs, Dr. Gossman worked on numerous training projects including developing training on the ISD process, developing training on Instructional Techniques, and participating as a key member of an AT&T-led task force which developed Training Development Standards for the Bell System. Following his tenure at Bell Labs, Dr. Gossman entered the world of independent consulting in human resources development with such diverse clients as AT&T, Bell Laboratories, Bell South, Florida Atlantic University, and the Presbyterian Center in Louisville, KY. After fourteen years as a consultant, Dr. Gossman joined the staff of the Southeast Regional Center for Drug-Free Schools and Communities at the University of Louisville. His position placed him in charge of all evaluation activities, internal and external, of the Center. Since joining HumRRO, Dr. Gossman has worked on various Army Research Institute sponsored research projects. Most recently he has served as project director on several projects examining training and performance support issues related to Army transformation.
