Biography/Blurb

John Harris has over 30 years experience in test development for educational and employment selection purposes. For HumRRO, Mr. Harris coordinates with the management of the Personnel Testing Division of the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). He has directed several projects that produce items for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), the primary selection and classification test used by the military services. He has also provided assistance in HumRRO projects focusing on educational testing programs. Prior to coming to HumRRO, Mr. Harris was the Chief of the Test Development Department in the Personnel Testing Division, and served as Editor-in-Chief for norm-referenced test materials at CTB-McGraw Hill. Mr. Harris completed all work, except for his dissertation, in educational psychology at the University of Chicago.
